well, actually, (not to give the story away) it is a ruse to lure Danse closer so they can snare him( as you know, spiders grow their legs back inside one still attached, the next molting will free the newly grown leg), they have no idea why they are being attacked and decide to nab a hostage... danse is in for it...

An artist AND a writer? You are talented, my friend I sure wish I could write, let alone publish something.. but great job on this! You did a really good job on designing the outfit, too. It looks very futuristic

you bless me with undo praise, i assure you i am merely a patzer, one of those people who cannot seem to get anything done, i have pages and pages of storylines and character development sheets, but nothing as cohesive as an actual finished project... a classic underacheiver... but, Relative Companion is the closest one to approximating a finished project, fortunately it has the best chances, as it holds within itself many stories, so it can perhaps succeed despite of myself.

yup, he's fang's best friend, the look he has was my attempt at a michievious crocodile tear look... the premise is that after the ship entered the solarsystem the current government had slowed it down and boarded, they found a lone child and what appeared to them, a monster. after unsuccessfully terminating the monster, during the process they realized the connection between the two, simply towed the ship to the space station turned orphanage. the current master at arms at the space station, is retired colonel Danse, of the coalition space marines, was summoned to rout the duo. (the battle that the orderlies waged was a bit one sided, in command, Danse ordered no firearms to be fired, but the scared orderlies did so anyway, suffering fang one of his legs, so the pair decided to lure Danse into the hold they occupied and string him up, for interrigation...
